OT Groups

OT groups are a perfect way to apply problem solving, social thinking, coordination/strength, and emotional regulation skills in a small group setting. This format helps children bridge their learning from individual OT sessions, to a more 'natural environment' with peers. Some children benefit from a combination of 1:1 OT sessions and OT group; others benefit from just OT group alone. Email or call us if you are interested or have questions!

Regulation & Social Thinking Group

In this group we will use concepts from Zones of Regulation and Social Thinking to guide collaborative play. Through play, our objective is for children to learn: turn taking, initiating play/engagement with peers, 'flexible thinking', and following the group plan. Sensory play and movement is encouraged throughout.

Coordination & Strength Group

This group is designed for children who would benefit from developing motor skills and/or the self confidence among peers. Children who best fit this group are already geared with appropriate social-emotional skills, and need additional support for coordination, strengthening, and overall body awareness. Group sessions are highly play based, collaborative, and will use an assortment of gym equipment.
